asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission propose to take steps to acquire the De Vere Hunt lands at Nurney, Kildoon, Kildare.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Nurney demesne and Balkinstown, owned by Mr. De Vere Hunt and, owing to the emergency restrictions, they are not prepared to consider at present the question of their acquisition.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is yet in a position to state when the Land Commission propose to divide the lands of Miss M. Byrne, Newtownallen, Maganey, County Kildare.

A scheme for the division of the lands acquired from Miss Margaret Byrne is at present in course of preparation, but pending the completion and approval of the scheme, the Land Commission are not in a position to state when the lands will be divided.
