Vol. 95 No. 17

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business on the Order Paper in the following order: Nos. 3, 2, 4, 5 and 6. No. 6 includes Votes Nos. 12, 25, 45 and 53. If not already completed, it is proposed that the debate on No. 4—Electricity Supply Bill—will be stopped at 5.30 p.m. Private Deputies' Business will be taken at 7.30—Motion 6, List 3, to be resumed, followed by Motion 7.

In connection with No. 6 on the Order Paper, will the Minister say when the Estimates will be circulated?

When are we likely to deal with the Mental Treatment Bill?

I cannot give a definite answer at the moment. So far as I am aware, the official amendments have not been circulated.

Then it is not likely that we will take the Bill this week?

It is unlikely.

Vote No. 29 is not to be taken to-day?

Vote No. 29, under No. 6, is not to be taken to-day.

The debate on No. 4 will end at 5.30 p.m., if not sooner. If it is not concluded by that time, that will mean that it will be adjourned.
