There is no possibility of providing improved facilities for the purchase of cycle tyres and tubes by bog workers for this year's turf cutting. The amount of rubber and other necessary raw materials that can be set aside for the manufacture of cycle tyres is still extremely limited and, in distributing the very restricted available supplies of these tyres, it will be quite impracticable to differentiate between the numerous classes of persons requiring them for essential purposes, or to give preference in such distribution to any particular class.
