Vol. 98 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath Holding — Water Difficulty.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that Michael Walshe, tenant on a Land Commission holding at Tara Hill, Dunsany, Meath (R.O. No. 1494) has complained without avail to the Land Commission that the pump attached to his holding never gave any water, compelling him to carry water almost a mile to his stock; and if, in view of this great hardship, the Land Commission will have this pump sunk to a proper level.

The Land Commission are unable to trace the receipt in their office of any complaints or representations by Michael Walshe in regard to a pump on his holding, but the matter has been referred to the local inspector for a report. When this report is received, I shall communicate with the Deputy.
