asked the Minister for Defence if he will state if he has received a memorial from the residents of Infirmary Road, Dublin, and the adjoining district protesting against an offensive adour emanating from works under the control of the military authorities situate at Parkgate Street, Dublin; if it is intended to continue activities in the works referred to; and, if so, what steps he proposes to take to meet the wishes of the residents of the area in the matter.

A memorial has been received from the residents of Infirmary Road, Dublin, and the adjoining district protesting against the odour emanating from the works under the control of the military authorities situate at Parkgate Street.

Investigations are being actively pursued with the object of devising means of eliminating the odour.
