Vol. 99 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Agricultural Costings Tribunal.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state whether it is the intention of the Government to set up an agricultural costings tribunal to ascertain and define, in all important branches of agriculture, economic costings of agricultural produce.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply of the 20th June, 1944, to a similar question by Deputy Cafferky. I have nothing to add to that reply, except to say that in any event a tribunal would not, in my view, provide the best means of determining agricultural costings.
