Vol. 99 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Advertising on Transatlantic Planes.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that comments have been made that there is a considerable amount of literature available on transatlantic aeroplanes giving publicity to tourist resorts in England and Northern Ireland, but no similar literature is available about resorts in Éire, and if he will take steps to have Irish resorts advertised in transatlantic aeroplanes.

The Irish Tourist Board and the Irish Tourist Association have taken and will take advantage of every opportunity of advertising in transatlantic aeroplanes but I understand that the facilities available for such advertising are limited.
