Vol. 99 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - New Telephone Exchange.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is now in a position to state whether the plans, specifications, etc., for the proposed new telephone exchange at St. Andrew Street, Dublin, have been completed and when tenders will be invited for the erection of the exchange.

The preparation of working drawings, specifications, etc., for the new post office and telephone exchange at St. Andrew Street, Dublin, is well advanced but it is not yet possible to say when tenders will be invited.

I repeat the assurance already given to the Deputy that the erection of the new building will be expedited as much as possible.
