Vol. 99 No. 19

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick Flooding.

asked the Minister for Finance whether, in view of the continued serious flooding caused by the Mid Morning Star River, between Ballinahinch Bridge and Bruff, County Limerick, and the consequent widespread damage to crops, he will arrange to have the drainage of this portion of the river attended to at an early date.

The river referred to is in the Maigue catchment area. I cannot say when a scheme, under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, will be prepared for that catchment.
