asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that ex-Army tradesmen are finding difficulty in securing and keeping employment owing to lack of tools which are unobtainable at present; and whether, in the circumstances, he would consider selling tools from surplus Army stocks at a fair valuation to ex-Army tradesmen who require them, not more than one set of appropriate tools to be sold to each qualified applicant.
