Vol. 101 No. 19

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Balrothery New School.

asked the Miniter for Education if he will state the reasons for the delay in advertising for tenders for the new school at Balrothery, Balbriggan, County Dublin; and further, if he will give an indication as to when the erection of this school will be commenced.

The completion of the plans in this case was delayed pending a decision on certain issues raised by the manager in connection with the sanitary accommodation and the heating and lighting of the school. The plans are now ready and will shortly be issued together with the specification by the Commissioners of Public Works to the manager. It will then be a matter for him to advertise for tenders for the erection of the school. I cannot say at this stage when the erection of the school will be commenced.
