Vol. 103 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Road Fund Grants.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state whether he is yet in a position to resume the payment of annual grants out of the Road Fund, similar to those made up to 1941, to the corporations of county boroughs (including the Borough of Dun Laoghaire).

The answer is yes. The sums allocated this year are:—

Dublin

£50,000

Cork

£8,000

Waterford

£3,000

Limerick

£4,000

Dun Laoghaire

£5,000

These amounts are approximately the same as those allocated in 1939.
