Vol. 103 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Courses of Military Instruction.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state whether certain Army officers have attended, or are attending, courses of instruction abroad; and if so, if he will state in what country or countries such courses were held, and also the number of officers attending and their ranks.

Since the termination of the recent war, a number of Army officers have been and are attending courses abroad. Up to the present two colonels, three majors, five commandants, and three captains have been sent on courses to Great Britain and one commandant has attended the Annual Convention of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States at Detroit.
