Vol. 103 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Shrule Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state if the McDonough Estate, Dalgan Park, Shrule (formerly De Clifford Estate), is now finally in the hands of the Land Commission; if so, whether it is proposed to subdivide it into holdings or additions for uneconomic holders, or both; and also, when the subdivision and allotments will take place.

Proceedings have been instituted for the acquisition of the McDonough Estate at Dalgan Park, but the Land Commission are not yet in a position to indicate whether or not the lands will be acquired.

Am I to understand that the lands are not acquired yet?

They are not acquired, no.
