Vol. 104 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Cork Lands

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have acquired the Clarke estate at Trabolgan, Whitegate, County Cork; if so, the number of acres acquired; whether the lands in question have actually been let by the Land Commission, and if so, to whom; and what steps it is proposed to take to make parcels of land available to small holders and other deserving applicants in the area.

The Land Commission are not in possession of any part of the Clarke estate at Trabolgan, but the lands have been inspected and it is proposed to initiate proceedings shortly for the acquisition of a considerable portion of the estate.
