Vol. 104 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Castlegregory Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is in a position to state what decision was arrived at as a result of the conference, held in August, 1946, between the consulting engineer and local officers of the Kerry County Council, regarding the proposed site of the outfall works for the Castlegregory sewerage scheme; and if there is any likelihood of the scheme being carried out in the near future.

At a conference held last August between the consulting engineer and the local officers, agreement was reached as to the site of the outfall works for the Castlegregory sewerage scheme. Certain alterations which involved some resurveying were agreed to at the same time. The consulting engineer has been engaged on the amendment of the plans and I understand that he expects to have the revised scheme ready for submission to the commissioner for the county council in the immediate future.
