Vol. 104 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper: Items Nos. 2, 3 and 4. In item No. 4 the following Votes will be taken: Votes 15, 2, 24, 47, 54, 6, 26 and 63. If Public Business be completed, the balance of the time will be devoted to Private Deputies' Business.

Would the Tánaiste say whether Vote 58 is to be taken or not?

It is not being taken.

In view of the present transport dislocation, will the Tánaiste indicate whether it is intended that the Dáil will sit next week, or every alternate week?

I think the Committee on Procedure and Privileges might discuss that. The present arrangement was intended to have regard to rail transport facilities for Deputies. As there are no rail transport facilities for Deputies, the matter might be reviewed by the Committee.

Can the Tánaiste say whether the Taoiseach proposes to move Item No. 1 on the Order Paper, in view of its very great importance, before the adjournment for the Easter Recess?

Not to-day.
