Vol. 104 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Bus Services.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware of the inadequate bus services provided, between 8.30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively, by Córas Iompair Éireann on the Churchtown, Dublin (No. 61) route; and if he will direct Córas Iompair Éireann to provide extra buses on this route during these hours.

I am advised that Córas Iompair Éireann could not make additional buses available on this route for the morning and evening services unless they diverted vehicles from other routes. The company propose to provide any necessary supplementary services as soon as vehicles become available.
