Vol. 105 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as set out on the Order Paper, in the following order: Items 2, 3 and 1. In connection with Item 1, it is proposed to take the Defence Estimates, the Department of Justice Estimates, and the Estimates for the Department of Posts and Telegraphs, in that order.

In view of the fact that we will be rising for the Easter Recess at the end of this week, will the Minister be in a position to make, any time this week, a statement to the House on the fuel position, following his discussions with members of the British Government?

I do not contemplate making a statement, but there is a Parliamentary question down for to-morrow which I shall answer.

What Estimates do we propose to take?

Votes 63 and 64, Votes 32 to 40 and then Vote 61.

When will the Social Welfare Estimates be taken?

I cannot say just now. The Minister is somewhat indisposed.
