asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the total amount of customs duty, collected during the year ended the 31st March, 1947, on: (i) tobacco; (ii) spirits; (iii) wines; (iv) mineral hydrocarbon light oil; (v) motor cars, parts and accessories; and (vi) clothing and apparel.

The approximate net receipts of customs duty collected during the year ended 31st March, 1947, under the heads of duty mentioned are as follows:—
