(1) In the case of the Fermoy schemes the building sites are not the property of the local authority. Compulsory Purchase Orders have been made and submitted for confirmation. Objections have been lodged and a public local inquiry will be held in Fermoy on the 27th instant. In the meantime it is not proposed to give a decision on the plans.

(2) With regard to the house design for the Kanturk scheme certain revisions have been suggested by the Department and an amended design was received on 8th instant and is being examined.

(3) In the case of the Buttevant scheme it was pointed out to the local authority on 17th February, 1941, that there were obvious objections to the erection of cottages unless water and sewerage services were available and that until such time as adequate drainage facilities are provided or until such drainage facilities can be provided as the building proceeds the scheme must be deferred.
