Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of County Meath Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he can state if the holding, with dwelling house, on the Fanning Estate at Ardcath, County Meath, which was vacant until recently, has now been allocated; and if so, to whom it has been allocated.

The holding referred to, which would appear to be that at Rathcarstown on the old holding of J.J. Fanning, Record No. M.3242, County Meath, has not yet been allotted.

Can the Minister say whether the house on this holding is at present occupied or not?

I understand that the house is occupied at present.

What action does the Minister propose to take in relation to the occupant?

This matter is being examined and I will let the Deputy know as soon as the examination is completed.

Is the Minister aware that of 12 holdings on this estate 11 have been allocated to migrants from the West of Ireland and in view of the congestion will he see that the remaining farm——

That is a separate question.
