Vol. 110 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Glengariff Creamery Facilities.

Mr. Collins

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he will state if his Department has received representations for the extension of the travelling creamery of the Dairy Disposals Board to Glengariff; and whether the extension will now be arranged in view of the fact that it should be possible now to make the necessary petrol available.

No representations appear to have been made since March, 1946, regarding the provision of a travelling creamery in the Glengariff area. I have arranged to have a further survey made at an early date with a view to ascertaining whether available milk supplies are now sufficient to render the provision of a travelling creamery practicable.
