Vol. 110 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Milk Prices to Creameries.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether his attention has been called to a resolution passed at the February meeting of the Limerick County Committee of Agriculture regarding the price to be paid during this year for milk delivered to creameries; and if so, whether he intends to give effect to the demand contained in the said resolution.

The answer to the first part of the question is "yes". I am satisfied that the present guaranteed prices for milk delivered to creameries are regarded as satisfactory by the majority of dairy farmers, and I do not propose to increase them.
