The latest report of the Census of Production issued in volume form is that for the year 1938. The matter for the volume covering the years 1938-1944, inclusive, has been in the hands of the printers since June, 1946, but the publication of the report has been unduly delayed owing to difficulties in the printing trade. It is anticipated that the report will be available within the next month. It is proposed to publish the reports for 1945 and 1946 in a single volume which, however, is unlikely to be ready before the end of the present year, though the preliminary reports for 1946 will be published in the next two issues of the Irish Trade Journal and Statistical Bulletin. It is proposed to publish an annual volume for 1947 and subsequent years.
