Vol. 110 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Land on Cullenmore Island.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that there are four families living on very small uneconomic holdings on Cullenmore Island, Clew Bay, Kilmeena, Westport, County Mayo, while half of the island is owned by a landlord living on the mainland; and if he will accordingly have proceedings instituted for the acquisition by the Land Commission of this latter portion of the island so as to provide economic holdings for the four families living there.

There are no proceedings to acquire any land on Cullenmore Island, Clew Bay, County Mayo. The Deputy's representations have been noted.
