Vol. 110 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lands for Tillage.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the tenants on the Gibbons estate, Newport, County Mayo, are anxious that the lands of Roigh in the occupation of Mrs. Croly, Roigh, be taken over by the Land Commission, so that this land may be divided amongst the uneconomic holders in the area, in order that they each may have a portion for tillage.

There are no proceedings to acquire the lands of Roigh owned by Mrs. Eleanor M. Croly. The Deputy's representations in the matter have been noted.
