Vol. 110 No. 6

Written Answers. - Cahirciveen Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that a water scheme for the town of Cahirciveen has been approved by his Department, and if he will state the reasons for the delay in proceeding with this scheme.

Mr. Murphy

The local authority were informed on 22nd October last that no objection would be raised to the preparation of plans for a water supply improvement scheme at Cahirciveen. The plans have not yet been submitted to my Department, but I understand the consulting engineer has recently completed them and forwarded them to the local authority.
