Vol. 110 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - New Meath Schools.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state the present position regarding the erection of the proposed new national school at Rosmeen, Kells, County Meath.

The Department has been in correspondence with the manager for some time past with a view to the erection of a new national school at Rosmeen, Kells, but certain arrangements have still to be made as regards the production of evidence of title to the site before a grant can be sanctioned from State funds towards the cost of the new school. Every effort will be made to have the case expedited, with a view to enabling a grant to be sanctioned and the erection of the school to be proceeded with as soon as possible.
