Vol. 110 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lack of Postal Facilities.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that great hardship is occasioned through lack of (a) telegraphic, and (b) money order facilities in Scotshouse post office; and, if so, whether he will consider the provision of these facilities at the earliest possible date.

Arrangements are being made to provide money order facilities at Scotshouse sub-office. The provision of telegraph facilities at Scotshouse will be considered when a telephone call office is installed there, but it is not possible at this stage to say when this can be done.
