Vol. 110 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Balbriggan Harbour.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state when the dredging of Balbriggan Harbour will be carried out, as this operation is at present urgently required.

The hire of a Board of Works dredger for work at Balbriggan Harbour has been offered to the Dublin Port and Docks Board, which is the authority responsible for the maintenance of the harbour.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary state whether Parliamentary representations have been made already in regard to this matter?

Yes, representations were made sometime previously by Deputy Rooney and Deputy Dunne.

That is very satisfactory. Something will be done now.
