Vol. 110 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Vesting of County Meath Tenants.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the reasons for the delay in vesting the tenants on the CollinsGerrard estate at Gibbstown and Clongill, County Meath, which has been divided for over 12 years, and also when the land in question is likely to be vested.

Due to circumstances over which the Land Commission had no control, it was impossible to proceed with the revesting of allotments during the emergency period.

The holdings at Gibbstown and Clongill in which the Deputy is interested will be examined with a view to vesting when they are reached in the ordinary course.
