Vol. 110 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Repair of Kerry Embankments.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the holdings of about 20 landowners in the Pierce and the Creagh estates, Electoral Division of Keelgarrylander, County Kerry, are subject to flooding by tidal waters owing to broken embankments; and, if so, whether he will take steps to have those embankments repaired without delay.

The question of the action to be taken by the Land Commission in regard to the embankments on the Pierce and Creagh estates is being examined in conjunction with the problem of other River Maine embankments, and consideration of the matter is being expedited as much as possible.
