Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Mayo Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the desire of a number of the residents of Ballinrobe town, County Mayo, to secure accommodation plots of land similar to those provided for other residents of the town under former Land Commission schemes; further, if he is aware that the lands at Cavanquarter, Ballinrobe, otherwise known as the old racecourse, are suitable for providing these plots, and, if so, whether he will have these lands acquired for this purpose.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Cavanquarter, Ballinrobe, otherwise known as the old racecourse, but the Deputy's representations have been noted.
