Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Public Morgue for Galway.

asked the Minister for Local Government if proposals have been received in his Department for the erection of a public morgue in Galway; and, if so, whether he will state the present position in regard to this application.

Proposals for the provision of a mortuary have been received in the Department. The local authority were informed on the 30th ultimo that no objection would be raised to the invitation of tenders for the provision of the mortuary, subject to the revision in minor particulars of the documents furnished.
