Vol. 110 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Restoration of Driving Licences.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will consider the introduction of legislation to enable the restoration of driving licences in proper cases to persons whose driving licences were suspended for life, and who, over a period of years since the date of suspension, have been exemplary citizens and are now well fitted, in the opinion of the local Garda authorities, to hold a driving licence.

Mr. Murphy

This matter will be considered in connection with proposals for legislation to amend the Road Traffic Act, 1933.
