Vol. 111 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - National Income.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the total amount of the national income for the last ascertainable year, and what proportion of that amount was distributed under each of the following heads: (a) wages; (b) salaries; (c) interest; (d) profits, and (e) rent.

The latest available estimate of the national income and its constituents is given for the year 1944 in the White Paper entitled "National Income and Expenditure, 1938-44" issued in March, 1946.
