Vol. 111 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Kerry Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the division amongst the local people of the Cashman estate, Tonreigh, Ballyheigue, County Kerry, is being considered; and, if so, whether the division of the lands may soon be expected.

Proceedings are in progress for the acquisition of an area of 231 acres of the Cashman estate at Tonreigh, County Kerry. A resale scheme for the division of the lands is in course of preparation but it is not yet possible to say when the lands will be allotted.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what acreage of land the Land Commission has acquired in the Castlegregory district, County Kerry, and when it is proposed to divide it.

The Land Commission have no definition of the area mentioned in the Deputy's question as "the Castlegregory district". If the Deputy would specify the townlands in which he is interested the information he requires will be furnished.
