Vol. 111 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers - Letterkenny Hosiery Factory Dispute.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that since the 8th May, 1948, there has been a lock-out at Letterkenny hosiery factory, owing to a trade union dispute; that consequently grave loss is being suffered by the union members; and, if so, whether he will consider intervening with a view to settling the dispute at an early date.

I am aware of the dispute in question. The matter has been referred to the Labour Court and I do not propose to intervene.
