Vol. 112 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drogheda Traffic Conditions.

asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware that widespread dissatisfaction is felt by the business people and citizens of Drogheda generally at the chaotic traffic conditions in the town, that both the Drogheda Corporation and the Drogheda Trades and Labour Council have repeatedly sought to remedy this state of affairs; and, if so, whether he is prepared to have further inquiries undertaken by his Department with a view to improving the situation.

I have asked the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána to reconsider the question of making by-laws under the Road Traffic Act, 1933, in respect of Drogheda.
