asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that a grant was allocated for the improvement of the slip and landing place at Glenlara, Belmullet, some 18 months or two years ago; that a sum equal to 25 per cent. of the grant was sanctioned by the Mayo County Council for this purpose; and, if so, whether he will state when this work is going to be completed in view of the fact that fishermen landing there put their lives in danger on account of the present conditions of this slipway; further, whether he will ensure that this work is started immediately to ensure that it is completed before the mackerel fishing season commences.
