Vol. 112 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employee at Dún Laoghaire Harbour Yard.

asked the Minister for Finance whether for a considerable number of years Mr. Thomas Creighton, of 20 Parnell Street, Sallynoggin, has been employed in a temporary capacity on summer work at the harbour yard at Dún Laoghaire; whether he has been so employed this year; and, if not, on what grounds has he been refused this customary employment.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Mr. Thomas Creighton has not been employed for summer work this year because he was not sent forward by the local employment exchange, through which men for this work are recruited.
