Vol. 112 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Blanchardstown (County Dublin) Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will consider the provision of a temporary water supply for Blanchardstown from the canal in the area.

Mr. Murphy

This proposal was made by the local authority in 1946 and consideration of it was deferred pending a decision in regard to the general plan for the water distribution system in North County Dublin. I understand that it is proposed to submit the proposal to the Department again in view of the serious shortage of water in the area and if this is done I will have the matter examined.
