Vol. 114 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Foreign Governments' Immigration Schemes.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it is possible to secure information from the South African, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand High Commissioners or otherwise as to the numbers of persons from this country taking part in special immigration schemes organised by their respective Governments for the years 1947 and 1948; and, if so, if he will state the numbers.

I am arranging for our representatives in the countries referred to to ascertain whether the information asked by the Deputy is or can be made available.
