Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sex Offences.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state (a) the number of sex offences reported to the Gardaí during each of the ten years ending on 31st December, 1948; (b) the number of such cases brought before the courts and the number of convictions in such cases in each of the same years; and (c) the number of sex offences in each of the said years committed against children.

The particulars asked for are contained in a tabular statement, which, if the Ceann Comhairle permits, I shall arrange to have printed in the Official Report.
