Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Commissioners.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state (a) the number of commissioners at present comprising the Land Commission; (b) the names of these commissioners, and (c) the annual salary paid in each case.

The Land Commission is composed of the Judicial Commissioner, the Honourable Mr. Justice Martin Maguire and six Land Commissioners, Messrs. K.R. O'Shiel, S.C., M. Deegan, S.J. Waddell, B.E., D. J. Browne, A. Mansfield and N. Herlihy.

The Judicial Commissioner is paid out of the Central Fund as a judge of the High Court. Particulars of the salaries of the Land Commissioners may be obtained from the current volume of Estimates for Public Services.
