Arising out of that reply, can the Minister indicate the number of houses in progress apart from those actually handed over?
The position of the corporation housing programme on the 31st March was as follows: Number of dwellings in progress, 1,729; number of flats, 826; number of reconditioned flats, 204, making a total of 2,759 dwellings. Tenders have been accepted for a further 636 houses, but work has not yet commenced. The position on 30th April was as follows: Number of dwellings in progress, 3,161; number of dwellings completed during the month, 55.
