A definite decision has not yet been taken but the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee has been informed officially of certain circumstances which make it difficult to deal with their proposals. It is proposed to invite representatives of the committee to discuss the matter with officers of my Department.
The teachers in question have already received increases in salary as from the 1st November, 1948, in accordance with the general adjustment of the remuneration of vocational education officers as from that date.
