Vol. 116 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Post Office Dinner Hour.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he is aware that the Castlecove Post Office is closed for dinner from 1 to 2 p.m. each day; that this is the only hour during which working people can really avail of the postal facilities in the district; and, if so, whether, particularly in view of the fact that the mail car does not arrive at this post office to collect the mail until 2.5 p.m. each day, he will arrange that the post office be not closed for dinner until after that time.

Arrangements have been made to change the lunch-hour period of closing at Castlecove to 2.15 p.m. to 3.15 p.m.
