Vol. 116 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Infantile Paralysis Clinic.

asked the Minister for Health if he has given consideration to the desirability of instituting an infantile paralysis clinic under the Sister Kenny system.

The matter of introducing improved services for the treatment of acute anterior poliomyelitis is being considered in my Department in relation to the general proposals and requirements for an improved orthopaedic service. If, on investigation, it is found desirable and feasible to include in these services the principles of the Sister Kenny system, arrangements will be made accordingly.
